As promised: How to do Cold Market Prospecting on Social Media Without Being Weird. This blogpost has been requested by many of my readers for a long time and today I'm giving you my best cold market prospecting techniques you can use when prospecting on social media.
First of all I want to answer what is cold marketing and how it's different from warm marketing. Cold comes from the fact that you don't have any connection or relation with the person you're prospecting. The opposite of cold market prospecting is warm market prospecting, where you have a close relation to the person already.
One reason for struggling to recruite in your warm market, may be that they don't look at you as an authority. That's why I recommend to read this blog post on how to become an authority in your niche as soon as possible. It will help you significantly in your warm market recruiting.
A common challenge for most marketers is that they've talked to everyone in their warm market and are looking for how to invite cold market in network marketing or MLM business.
In my opinion this is the fastest and most efficient strategy if you take time to do proper cold market prospecting training and use the best cold market prospecting scripts I'm going to share with you today.

It's also the reason I recommend you add the “I almost didn't reach out to you” in the cold market recruiting scripts to use. It shows that you're a real person with real feelings.

So after you've created a nice conversation with the person, it's very important that you start preparing your closing process to find out if the person is open for your business or not….
Top 6 closing questions to ask your prospect
Question 1: What do you do for work?
The goal of this question is simply to have them ask you back (most will ask you back), so you can say something amazing about your business.
Question 2: How long have you been doing that for?
It's important to find out if a person has just joined a new business or has been with one job or company for a long time to understand how you can find any pain points.
Question 3: If long time: Wow, you must be loving it huh? If short time: Do you see yourself doing that forever?
Either way there may be an opportunity for you.
Question 4: Have you ever considered doing anything different?
90% of the population are thinking if there is something better somewhere else.
Question 5: Make the close
This may or may not be a fit for you, but based on what you shared with me, you may want to take a look at what I do, especially since it wouldn't interfere time-wise with what you're current commitments. If you're open I could send you som information. If not no big deal
Question 6: After they've said yes to get info.
Here is my phone number xxxxxx, give me a call if you have any questions. What's your number so I know who's caling?
You show them trust by giving your number. This is how to bring them from online to offline – from cold market to warm market.
